Hitch:

Michael Hitchcock ("Hitch") is a 28 year Soccer Management Executive who spent over 12 years in Major League Soccer. Known as a strategic thinker and soccer pioneer, Hitch has won numerous MLS Business Awards during his MLS Career which started as entry level ticket sales rep at DC United before moving to Colorado Rapids as Director of Sales then was Vice President of Sales for LA Galaxy before finishing as General Manager of FC Dallas. 

Based in Dallas Texas, Hitch owns a Sports Management Company called Playbook Management International ("PMI") who has worked with over 100 professional soccer teams, leagues, venues and soccer events all over the world and has investments in multiple sports properties including 20 Soccer Teams and other sports businesses (Pine Street Press, ProRel Soccer Shop, TIFO Branding, VirtualVeep, London Live Sports). The Lynchburg expansion USL2 Team will be his 21st team.  

Hitch is married to Jamie who is from Baltimore, Maryland. Has a Daughter, Eleni who is a Sports Management Executive, graduate of Texas Tech and General Manager of Columbus United in Columbus, Georgia. His son William played College Soccer for VCU in Richmond, VA and has played NPSL Soccer for National Champion Denton Diablos (2021-2023) and Annapolis Blues in 2024. William graduated with a Masters Degree in Sports Leadership and has launched a new Business called Golden Keg while serving as Business Operations Manager for VirtualVeep.
